A beautiful piece! The knots that hang from the corners seem to be easily undone and tied in such a way I'm not sure how to bring it back to its original state. Overall, it seems a bit more fragile than I'd expected, since I want to use it as sun protection when I'm farming. I'm a bit worried it will snag and unravel but will be sure to be careful.
As a Jew, it feels so important to visibly communicate that I'm fighting for a free Palestine. I've been wearing it constantly. Thanks for your commitment to distributing these Palestinian made keffiyah!
So, the only complaint I have is that the white and gold color is actually a pretty sage color with gold accents. That said, it's absolutely stunning. There may be a little but of a stale scent when you receive the item, but I honestly think that has more to do with transport than anything else. I let it air out and it went away. A little hack is to take some of the namat fragrance oil, rub it in your hand and then brush your hand over the fabric. It has held the scent for over a week now. so happy.
I'm glad to have received this so quickly. I wear it proudly in support of Palestine
I have to admit, I was a bit concerned (after ordering) that this would not be a genuine item. However, I checked immediately (it arrived very fast!) and the stitching of the net pattern is definitely hand-sewn. There are a couple of visible threads (not exactly loose) that also indicate that this wasn't mass produced. Also, the lace extending just a bit over the length of the item is also indicative of a handmade garment. The fabric is soft, cottony, but tissue-thin - quite delicate. This is definitely an item to treasure, not just for what it represents but also because of wisp-like fabric. It is beautiful and more meaningful than anything I have ever owned. And it is obvious that these keffiyeh are made with love. Thank you so much! I will take precious care of it. Free Palestine 🇵🇸
